Donald Mosher Award for Colonial Virginia Research Opens 2023 Applications

The BCG Education Fund invites applications for the 2023 Donald Mosher Award, given in recognition of outstanding Colonial Virginia research. The Donald Mosher Award is an annual $500 grant established from funds donated in 2001 by Merrill Hill Mosher, CG^®, in memory of her late husband.

Applications are due 31 December 2022. More details regarding qualifying entries and the application process are available at https://bcgedfund.org/mosher-award.

An entry may qualify in any of three categories:
• Family genealogies beginning with a couple residing in Virginia prior to 04 July 1776.
• Studies of origins of an immigrant who settled in Virginia prior to 04 July 1776.
• A project that makes obscure or difficult previously unpublished Virginia resources that predate 04 July 1776 more available to researchers.
