Kristina Gow Clever, CG®, is a Certified Genealogist®, writer, speaker, and founder of Clever Genealogy in southern Alabama. She has written articles for the Minnesota Genealogist and The Quarterly Journal of the Illinois State Genealogical Society. Her passion for family history began in 1986 when she discovered that her father’s parents each lost a parent at a young age. She specializes in complex family history projects and DNA evidence analysis, managing dozens of DNA kits for relatives and clients across all major testing platforms. Her genealogy work spans multiple geographic locations including the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Germany, Mexico, Norway, and Scotland. Kristina serves on the webinar committee for the Board for Certification of Genealogists and Association of Professional Genealogists’ Professional Development Committee. She holds an AA degree in Liberal Arts, Genealogical Research Certificate from Boston University, and is a graduate of ProGen 42 and Certification Practicum 2.
